Warehouse Assistant – Civils – Southampton

You'll be working for Civils in Canterbury. Civils is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and are specialist insulation & dry-lining distributor offering comprehensive range of products online and across our network of 25 branches nationwide.

Hours of work: 7am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (No working weekends!).

· Great Communication Skills

· Industry experience not essential, training will be given

· Ability to collaborate and work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative

· Fork Lift Truck experience is desired

· Experience not needed, very experienced warehouse team to support with learning & development.

What will I be doing in the role?

Our Warehouse Assistants are very important to the smooth running of the business, you will be responsible for the safe, continuous and efficient running of the warehouse. The role is important to help ensure products are where they need to be on time and you will be responsible to ensure that the product is ready for the customer to collect. To support our customers effectively you will;

· Interaction with our customers; ensuring the right products are purchased

· Work in a team of nine picking and loading orders

· Manual lifting products for our customers

· Ensure warehouse is kept clean, tidy and safe in-line with H&S procedures
