This is an eleven-month fixed term contract.

As the stock condition surveyor, you will conduct stock condition surveys to support the collation of stock condition information and long-term asset management planning. You will assist in the preparation, delivery, and monitoring of our five-year rolling programme of stock condition surveys. For example, you will carry out stock condition surveys of roofs, kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows, and other components within the property ensuring assessments comply with the Housing Health and Safety Rating System. You will also be analysing data, as required, in response to a customer enquiry or as part of the stock condition data collection and validation of programmed works.

Work across all service areas must be delivered safely and comply with any associated legislation, regulation, guidance, and good practice. You will help in the effective delivery of the investment strategy, including the development of programmes of stock reinvestment, development of stock condition survey processes and development of associated systems. Support the delivery of data management activity in line with service delivery targets and key performance indicators, ensure collaboration across the business regarding data management and best practice and support the home investment and compliance function, as required.

To be successful in this customer-facing role you will need to be organised and flexible.

As a stock condition surveyor, you will:

Have a HNC in Building Studies or a BTEC, NEBOSH or equivalent property/construction related qualification and, or a composite of experience, skills and competences relating to property investment or construction
Be HHSRS accredited (desirable)
Bring significant experience in a property maintenance (housing) or construction environment
Have experience working and delivering services in a customer-focused environment
Be experienced in stock condition surveys, HHSRS surveys and the management of property-related data
Have a flexible working attitude with time, travel and demonstrated reliability
Be comfortable working with mobile devices, such as tablets, laptops and smartphones
Be IT literate and comfortable using various systems and Microsoft office products
Build effective relationships with several teams both internal and external
Have a full, driving licence with access to a vehicle
Be committed to our DNA and be a great ambassador for Bromford.This is a roaming role with a mix of home, office and remote working so will be contractually based from our Chipping Sodbury office.

Your previous experience may be in roles such as a stock condition surveyor, building surveyor, assistant building surveyor, investment surveyor, property surveyor, asset surveyor, amongst others.
