You will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of the Plastics Production lines, as well as managing the order placement and delivery of all associated direct materials, ensuring the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost.

Client Details

Our client is a national FMCG manufacturer with 4 UK sites. This role is based at the Bradford site.

They are looking for a driven individual to join the team to own the end to end planning process for plastics.

Description

Capacity Management of Plastics demand through Sales and Operations Planning
Generate Production Schedules for shop floor use
Development of existing Supply Chain processes and procedures
Balance customer demand with supply using MRP logic
Stock build management for seasonal business
Maintain and improve Bill of Material accuracy
Raise Works Orders for Production
Maintain inventory stock at business plan levels
Control working capital by optimal planning of inventory
Develop key links with Customer Service, Sales Managers and Production area
Order of all direct Plastics materials
A proactive problem-solving approach to Supply Chain issues, with an ability to resolve using IT systems.
Prepare for and partake in daily morning Supply Chain meeting
Maintain and issue weekly and monthly KPI's for the department
Weekly Commitment Meeting to confirm plans, crewing requirements and rosters for the following 3 weeks.
Update weekly planning spreadsheetsProfile

Excellent computer skills with good grasp of Excel and PowerPoint
Understanding of planning methodology – MPS & MRPll, S&OP
Customer focused and results driven
Previous experience of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Navision etc)
Experience of planning multiple Production lines
Experience of fast moving, Make-To-Stock environment, managing ambiguity / late change
