A BRAND-NEW Sales Manager role in a fast-growing technology business managing, growing and developing a team of account managers.
This role is a great opportunity for a Sales Manager to join a fast growing Cyber Security MSSP. The client are looking to build upon their success by appointing a Sales Manager who is able to continue to build mutually beneficial relationships within the reseller channel, as identifying and closing new business opportunities. Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the vertical's business plan and their challenges, to enable them to be positioned most favourably to deliver products and services which will enable their brilliance.
Inherit team of 5 x Account Managers
Manage and develop key relationships with partners and resellers
Proactive and regular interaction with sales teams to ensure minimal friction in quoting and ordering solutions
Drive a proposition-led approach to clients ensuring the solutions provided are applicable to the clients need.
Grow profitability by generating more-lucrative product mix; collaborating with procurement; and creatively meeting client needs with lower-cost solutions
Build and disseminate expertise on all Six Degrees Data products, relevant industry trends and client/competitor developments
Own business cases and approvals for deals triggering management approvals
Lead a team of individual contributor Account Managers to deliver against defined targets and KPI's
Create an accountable, high performing winning team culture that runs towards problems and celebrates success.
Monitor and drive the teams performance, ensuring that all team members are receiving regular reviews, encouraging those that are not achieving and where necessary initiate performance management of underperforming employees
Track record of managing or supporting a sales team
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of organizations including C-level and Executive.
Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office
Experience delivering client focussed solutions to customer needs
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to details.
What's on Offer
Basic salary of £55-70k base double OTE
