LINQ Recruitment are currently looking for a professional and experienced Pump Engineer to join a permanent contract with one of our highly established clients.
Job Details:
* Start date – Immediate/ASAP
* Shift'; Monday to Friday (Occasional Weekends)
* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
* Salary: £28,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
* Schedule: 8 hour shift
* Licence: Drivers License (Required)
Key Responsibilities
* Installation and servicing of a wide range of pumps, booster sets, pump stations, and control panels
* Resolving and repairing onsite
* Reporting and documenting fixes
* Complying with Health and Safety policy and procedures
* Driving company vehicles
* Ensure company property is looked after
* Water experience (EUSR Water Hygiene an advantage)
* Confined Space
Competencies
* Ability to fault find in a range of demanding environments
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* A range of experience on various pump manufacturers
* CSCS Card
* Previous pump installation and servicing experience in a field service role
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Use of power tools
* Understanding/reading drawings
* Self-motivated, keen to learn, conscientious and prepared to work in all weather conditions.
* Reliable and punctual
* Good Customer Service skills
* Physically fit for duties around site
* Must hold a valid full UK driving licence
The successful candidate will often be required to travel and occasionally work away.
