I am working with a specialist company who operate within the technology sector, who are looking for an account manager to join their existing sales team within the heart of Leeds city centre.

The role will involve but will not be limited to:

· Contacting existing customers to advise of product expiration

· Upselling and cross selling of other products and services available

· Handling each account as if it is your main account

· Building long, last relationships with the customers

· Manging your time effectively

· Learning and understanding the industry and the specific services and products they supply

· Handling any incoming enquiries from customers via email or telephone

· Working towards KPI’s and targets

· You will need a strong telephone manner/negotiation skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Be able to handle objections effectively

We are looking for someone who has a minimum of two years customer service, telesales, account management or sales experience for this position. Experience within the IT/Technology sector is not essential but would be a distinct advantage.

In return my client is offering a starting salary of £21,000 – £25,000 depending upon experience, with an uncapped commission scheme, which can easily see you make between £1000 – £2000 per month in bonus.

The working hours are 9am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday, and for the first 6 months the role will be based in the client’s state of the art modern, open plan offices in the centre of Leeds, however once successfully passed probation you would be able to work on a hybrid basis (part home/part office) at your leisure.
