I am recruiting for an Assessments Officer to join a well established Educational organisation based in Leeds City centre. This fast paced and exciting organisation is looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good customer service background to join their growing team.

Responsibilities include:

To work closely with the all assessment teams to ensure the smooth running of examinations and the delivery of all aspects of pre and post assessments processes for all assessments/examinations including:

Marking Process – to implement the administration and marking process for all examinations and assessments.
Examination Board – to prepare provisional final results and associated paperwork. Liaising with the programme leads.
Results – to calculate and publish accurate conditional/provisional results including awarding certificates/notices.
Concession Applications – ensure administrative procedures are followed and records updated for those students absent from examinations/ assessments.
Special Facilities – to work with the Disability Support Team in making adjustments to exams/assessments for students requiring special facilities in relation to assessments
Records – To maintain an efficient and accurate filing and retrieval system for all exams/assessments.
Communications – Ensure all exam/assessment communications with students and staff is delivered timely, accurately and in confidence.You will work in a small and friendly team and will be passionate about the work you do. A background in Education is preferred but not essential.
