We now have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our NHS repairs and maintenance team. Based at Lymington Hospital you will be providing administration support to our maintenance teams on our South West contracts.

Rydon Maintenance is responsible for ensuring that estates and facilities across these NHS Trusts are in excellent working order. We do this through a programme of planned and preventative maintenance (as well as managing reactive repairs as they come through) with our network of directly employed skilled maintenance operatives. The role of administrator is instrumental in providing a professional administrative service to ensure the ongoing success of our contracts.

You will work as part of a small team and key duties include:  

Undertaking the administration of our planned/preventative maintenance process

Obtaining service sheets/completed work sheets and updating our maintenance system to ensure that completed works are logged (and fully auditible)

Conducting regular checks on our system to ensure that all records are up to date and present

Answering the helpdesk switchboard and logging details of the calls taken

Assisting with general administrative tasks and other ad-hoc tasks.

Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have previous administration experience with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. It is not necessary for the preferred candidate to have experience gained in a facilities and/or maintenance background, as full training will be provided. Alternatively, you might be studying towards a further qualification and looking to further develop your work experience. Either way, the preferred candidate will be outgoing, have good Microsoft Word/Excel skills, be passionate about providing excellent customer service and have the ability to work as part of a small but friendly team.
