This is an immediate opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant with an analytical mind. This could be a brilliant opportunity to develop your skills within a busy team.

Working for a well established organisation in Alton, you will play a vital part in the Accounts department.

Your day will include various financial and accounts responsibilities and you will also be providing essential administrative support to the team.

As an Accounts Payable Assistant your role will include, but is not limited to, the following:

* Sales Ledger

* Costing and budgeting support

* VAT returns

* Import/export documentation

* Accounts receivable/payable

* Bookkeeping

* Data entry

* Preparation of monthly management accounts

* Carrying out credit checks

* Keeping all systems up to date

* General administrative duties

Ideally you will have an accounting qualification but previous finance experience is essential. You will also need good knowledge of Excel and the ability to pick things up quickly.

There is on site parking available and there is also public transport links to and from the company.

You will be working Monday to Wednesday, 9am-5:30pm with 1 hour lunch.

This role will be on a temporary basis, to start as soon as possible and will be up until the end of November (potentially longer).
